Little Hope Children's
Home
The Simunye Project has provided funding for
education as well as building needs for The Little Hope
Children's Home in Kenya, Africa. The Little Hope Children's
Home is an orphanage for very young children whose parents
have died of HIV/AIDS or casualties of catastrophic
circumstances. These children have no extended family and
prior to coming to The Little Hope Children's Home wandered
the streets without food or shelter.
The school's founder, Richard Katana, along with his brother
and sister-in-law, is dedicated to educating and empowering
these children in difficult time of their lives.
Currently, The Little Hope Children's Home is in great need
of structural improvements such as roof repair and fencing.
The home is also in dire need of desks, uniforms, books,
school supplies, and snacks. All donations are tax deductible
and are greatly appreciated.
