The Jubalani Village
This village was started in the Mandela Era to provide medicine and nursing care to its physically impaired residents. After the Mandela Era the village was abandoned leaving the people without care or the ability to make a living. The Simunye Project has not only provided food, clothing, and medication for these people but also materials and machinery which is enabling them to become self supporting.
Nelley, a resident of Jubalani, oversees our efforts there as well as liaisons with the other residents on behalf of The Simunye Project. A craft store has recently been opened to sell the crafts that are made there.
